Before I continue with my story let me explain a few things first.  I have written quite a few stories now of my sexual excursions with my friends.  They are all just snapshot stories of my experiences with very little context.  This story is part of a series that tells of the relationships and drama surrounding my sexual experimentation with my two friends Eric and Zach.  Enjoy! 

It was a warm Saturday morning the day after skinny dipping at the river.  I woke up and noticed Eric had already left to work and Zach was still sleeping on the floor next to me.  My bedroom had no bed so when my friends crashed at my house we all had to sleep on the floor.  As I lay there staring at the ceiling, I thought about the pleasures of last night and the strange silence immediately following.  I wondered if Eric or Zach felt guilty or dirty about what happened.  Neither of them is gay but that wasn’t the first time we had done something like that either.  I don’t consider myself gay either because I have a girlfriend and very much enjoy sex with her.  I looked over at Zach and saw that he was awake too, staring at the ceiling. 

“You gotta work today?” I asked.

“Nope.”

I got up and put on some clothes.

“I’m fucking hungry.  You wanna go to Olive Garden for lunch?” I asked.

“Sounds good.” Zach replied sounding a little down.

As we walked into the sweltering August heat we lit up our morning Lucky Strikes and got into my 89 VW Jetta.  With music cranked and the windows down the heat got bearable.  I could tell something was on Zach’s mind because he wasn’t talking much and he had this look on his face.  I didn’t want to ask what was bothering him yet.  We parked and went into the restaurant and a gorgeous blonde flirted with us while getting us a table. 

“What’s wrong dude?” I asked after eating a breadstick.

“Nothing man.” Zach replied as his face told me he was even more stressed about something.

I suspected that this had something to do with last night but you never know with Zach.  I have known Zach to get this way when he feels left out or jealous. 

“Come on man, I hate when you act all depressed!” I finally said with some genuine frustration.

Zach stared at me for a second then said, “I know you are just gunna think I’m being a little bitch but I feel like you and Eric are closer than me and you.  I mean I guess this is kinda about last night but not really…I guess I just feel jealous!”

“Jealous of what?” I said not understanding Zach at all.

“I just think that I have been a closer friend to you than Eric and he doesn’t deserve …” Zach trialed off not wanting to approach his point directly but more at a corner angle.

“Come on man it’s not like any of us are gay lovers or anything…and you know that you and I are way closer friends than Eric and I.  But I don’t think that it should matter we have all been friends for years and I would consider Eric one of by best friends.”  I said trying to help resolve this.

“I know, I know Eric is my good friend too but I still get jealous.” He
