I guess there is a lot of "little boy" in me. I have always loved trains. If I heard one at night, I would wonder where it was going and who was riding on it. So as the train clicked down the tracks back in l947, I was aboard and was enjoying my trip. I had just returned from Japan after my tour of duty there. I was traveling across the USA from California to New York, so I had a 3-day ride ahead of me and was looking forward to it. I had just re-enlisted in the Army for 3 years and was scheduled to be stationed in Germany. I did not take any vacation time to visit my home because I did not have a home: I got kicked out of my home when I was l5 years old because I was gay! Well it was their loss; I guess the army became my home and I retired from the army after 20 years. But that’s getting way ahead of myself!

When I re-enlisted, the army gave me a train ticket and meal tickets for the train. When I got to the station, I was told that I had a reservation and they had a "room" for me on the train. So I followed the porter as he led the way to my room in the Pullman section of the train. My room was private: two seats facing each other that would later be made into a bed for me, and with a sink in one corner.

After the train was on its way, I took a tour of the train and checked the beautiful studs out. Then I located the dining car and gave one of the meal tickets to the waiter and he showed me to a table. The table had room for 4, so he soon filled the empty seats up with other servicemen who were traveling and using meal tickets.

As we servicemen were having our dinners, we were talking and each of us had plenty to say. I could not keep my eyes off one soldier: he was drop dead sexy! When you get a few servicemen together it does not take long for the conversation to turn to girls and sex. So I had plenty to say about the girls in Japan. The sexy stud was just returning from Asia and had his share of sex there also and he told us about his adventures with the girls there.

After our dinners, our little group broke up and each went their own way, except the sexy stud and me. When I invited him to my room, he accepted and soon he was in my room and again we were talking about sex. When you are our age you are always horny! I was l9.

When I was a young gay guy, life was different for a gay person than it is today and in many ways it was better. Nobody talked about homosexuals, almost as if there were no homosexuals in the world. But a gay guy could have lots of fun with straight men. See back then there was no "pill," so the girls were afraid to fuck because they were afraid of getting pregnant and once a girl started fucking around, everyone would talk about her and her reputation went down the drain. So that left a lot of horny guys.
