felt that he was alive and dead and totally unconnected.

He let Reece shake and cry. Sometimes the boy whaled, sometime he just sniffled until the next uncontrollable wave of pain and anger over took him. It was an hour before Reece stopped, dried his eyes and himself and walked back over to his house. It left Ian drained, but feeling as though he had made or was making the connections that he felt had escaped him.

 Did it again...
...every time I think that you've written the best that possibly could be, you go one better. Amazing. PS my nephew did 3 tours in Iraq - he turned 30 over there last spring. H e deploys to Afghanistan early next year. He talks to me sometimes - its a n honor that he feels that he can. Bless em' all...

Oh, keyboardman, you've got me hooked on your stories. Somehow you've mana ged to make the sex less important than the characters themselves, yet it r emains boiling beneath the scenes. Please don't stop this series! But if you do, I'm sure anything you write will be equally beautiful and fascinating. Thanks for bringing me into a life I was once familiar with (I lived in LA for 10 years). I must say, I wish I had never left. Hope to retire there.
