Jesse explained. “I just wanted Bill to know that he could relax and have a good time here.”
“Fucker…” Reece hissed under his breath. He watched his little brother staring after the dude.
“Man,” Jesse sighed. “Wasn’t expected that.” He shook his head. “Sorry, haven’t been laid for two days.”
Reece crossed his arms and looked at his brother. “Go on, you little whore, but meet us back at the bikes in one hour…ONE HOUR!”
Jesse started to sprint off, but Reece grabbed his arms, “You got a condom?”
“Of course.”
“Be safe you idiot.” He chided and let Jesse run off, Billy’s tongue on the ground and Reece just folding his arms and shaking his head.
“Isn’t that dangerous…and don’t tell me he’s got a condom?” Billy said.
“It’s okay. The nude beach I just over there, and even though you’re not supposed to, there’s a lot of open fucking, from both sexes in all kinds of combinations. You wanna go down?”
“Uh…no…I’m not ready for that.”
“Sorry about Jesse, I guess he’s at that age.”
“At his age, I was screwing girls, not guys.”
“I don’t think he does it with guys all that often. He’s a pretty horny kid who thinks being casual about it is mature.”
“And you?”
“I was that way once, but I’m older and been through a lot more that has made me feel way older.”
“Your Mom said you just got back from overseas.”
“Yeah. That’ll do it.”
Billy nodded his head and put his hands in his pockets. “It makes me feel like what I’ve been struggling with is just stupid. I won’t ask you about it.”
Reece nodded his head, and the two just watched people go by for a while.
“Won’t be here too long, but I hope you and I can be buddies. Hope Ian invites me back sometime.”
“I’m sure he will.”
A few more people went by. “I’m trying not to ask…” Reece tried not to ask.
“Me and Ian?”
“Uh huh.”
“We’ve been best buds for a long time, I’m pretty much all the family Ian has, until maybe you guys…”
“That’s not what I meant, but I think I get the picture.”
“Not my confidence to elaborate on.” Billy said.
“Understand.”
“Appreciate it.”
“So he really has no family?”
“Nope. Parents got killed right after he was born, grandma passed when he was maybe around six, sort of raised by an Uncle who spent most of his time in a bottle. A miracle Ian grew up, let alone become as fine as man as he is.”
“Do you love him?” Reece just decided to be point blank.
