obvious that Billy was enthralled, Reece guessed they didn’t have beaches in bumfuck or wherever the hell he was from. He noticed Billy trying not to ogle everything that he was seeing. It was difficult for someone who took his surroundings for granted and seeing it through new eyes. After a while, Reece actually found himself enjoying watching the excitement I the man’s face as he was dazzled by the bodies in spandex, the drag queen on roller skates and the cornucopia of species.

“This whole trip is just blowing my mind!” Billy tried hard not to squeal. “You just don’t see things like this back home.” The boys watched Billy’s jaw drop as two bodybuilders walked by nonchalantly hand in hand. “Man, if you did that on the street in Grundy, they’d probably horse wipe you!”

“Not a lot of gay guys in Gurny?” Jesse asked.

“I’m sure there are some in Grundy…” he pronounced it slower this time, “I just don’t know of more than one…” and then he blushed, “Well, two counting myself…I just wouldn’t do that in public in broad daylight.”

“So you’re gay?” Reece said matter of factly.

“I’m sorry; I hope that doesn’t make you guys uncomfortable.” He apologized.

“No,” Jesse replied as matter of factly as possible, “I just assume most guys do other guys now and then.”

“It kind of made me uncomfortable. I haven’t said that aloud to too many people, feels kind of good.”

“You just deciding that?” Reece said, feeling a little sorry for the guy.

“Yeah. I’ve only had a few experiences, but I’ve just recently realized that’s what I prefer. Seems strange, you know, being so open about it.”

“No one bats an eye here, maybe where you come from…” Reece wondered what Jesse was up to, “but here if you’re horny all you have to do is ask.”

“Oh, God, I don’t think I could ever do that, especially with someone I didn’t know…”

“No big deal…” Jesse said, “it’s easy…watch…” Before Reece could stop him Jesse looked around and turned to a nice looking guy sitting a few feet away watching people walk by. “Hey, dude, wanna get fucked?”

The guy shielded his eyes from the sun with his hand and smiled, “Thanks man, but I don’t bottom.”

Reece thought Billy would pass out, and even he was floored when the guy yelled a few feet away to another guy, “Hey, Simon, you horny? This guy over here wants to top…”

A red head, built like a brick shit house walked over and joined the other guy and Jesse. “Sure, your buddies wanna watch or join us?”

Jesse shook his hand, “Aw thanks guy, maybe some other time. I was just trying to prove something to my buddy here…” he pointed to Billy who was looking for a hole to crawl into, “…he’s visiting for the first time from the sticks….”

“No problem, I’ll be down on the beach if you change your mind…” and the guy walked off, he stopped by Billy on his way off and put his hand on Billy’s chest, “You are just too hot, stud. Come on down, I’ll give you a welcome to California you’ll never forget.”

Billy mumbled something that sounded foreign, like from another planet foreign, as the guy winked and walked away.

“You asshole!” Reece chided Jesse.
