while street racing.
After I few minutes I got bored, and walked over to the cell phone section. I moved down the aisle and noticed a new bluetooth headset that I really had my eye on for a few weeks. The reviews I read on the internet showed this thing was a must have. I picked a package off the hook and looked at it with careful detail. I reached in my pocket to realize that I didn't have my wallet. I couldn't believe it; I must have left it at home. I thought to myself, I didn't feel like driving all the way back home and getting my wallet and driving all the way back to the store. Best Buy was 20 minutes away from my house and traffic was a bitch. Old habits die hard and I begin to go into my shoplifting mode.
Should I risk this? I was "clean" for about three months and I didn't want to loose the trust my parents were once again placing with me. I really wanted this headset through. I tucked the package under my arm and walked into the men’s room. In the stall, I opened the package and placed the headset in my back pocket. I threw the rest of the packaging in the trash and walked back out onto the floor. I didn't immediately run for the exit, this was a newbie mistake many people made. I stayed in the store for another 20 minutes browsing and then decided to make my way out. As I walked toward the sliding glass doors I heard the guard again.
"Have a good day!" Rico said smiling. I nodded at him with a smile and made my way out the door. As I entered the parking lot and couldn't believe I did what I just did. Three months gone down the drain. Was I ever going to get out of my old ways? It really didn't matter, since I didn't get caught. I pressed the unlock button on my keyfob and as I reached for the car handle, a light-skinned masculine hand grasped my wrist. I immediately looked up to see Rico glaring at me. His grip on my wrist was tight. Before I could react, say or do something he immediately yanked me close to him. His other hand grasped the side of my head as he pushed my ear close to his mouth.
"You thought you could get away...huh?" Rico whispered into my ear. I could feel his hot breath against the inside of my ear. With each syllable, spit droplets sprayed the side of my face.
"I...I..don't...I don't know what you are talking about" I stuttered. I was scared shitless. This guy was more than bigger than me. He could lay me out in one punch. I am light-skinned, 5'11”, about 180 lbs slim, I was in no position to try and fight him.
"Don't play shit with me. I know you stole that headset." Rico grunted as he rummaged my pockets. He reached in my back pocket to find the stolen headset. "There we go," he said with a smile on this face. By this time he pushed me off of him and held the headset out in front of me. "I don't like shoplifters, you make me sick. Lock your car and come with me!" Rico demanded as he grabbed the back of my neck. His hand swallowed my neck and I could feel him applying pressure. I fumbled with my keys and
