I was eighteen that summer and desperately needed something to keep me busy. All my friends had jobs so there was not a lot of time to hang. Every weekday was the same. I would wake up around noon, look for something to eat, watch TV and sit around. I stayed by myself all day because my mom and dad worked. After they got home we would go out to eat and I would stay up till one in the morning and start over the next day.
It was a hot July day and there was nothing good on TV. The new couple that had just moved in across the street a couple days ago were outside. They were a newly wed couple right out of high school. Brandon and Ashley, they were both like nineteen. My dad met them and they seemed nice. I walked outside to get the mail, really I just wanted to see what they were up to. I walked by the window and the party seemed to be over. I walked into my bathroom and turned on the shower. I got a towel and started to brush my teeth. I shook my head no.
“Ever had something with someone at all?” He asked.

“Don’t worry about it, I do everything.”
