His At Last

For as long as I can remember, I had been attracted to Jacob. The way he moved, his well-defined muscles, and cheerful personality always made me yearn to be with him. He was bulky, but something about him made it seem softer, and gentler, than his twin brother Adam. Adam was assertive, built like a bulldozer, and exceptionally bright, just like his brother, but something about Adam always made me think of sharp edges, while Jacob was smooth and comforting.

I tried to deny my feelings for Jacob, since I knew he was straight, and I considered myself straight at the time as well. I made excuses to myself like: “He’s just more feminine than most guys,” or “If he was a girl, I would go out with him.” No matter how many times I told myself that, it never felt right. Deep down, I think I always knew I liked him just because he was himself.

I finally realized that I was bisexual when Jacob started dating Tina, who was also bi. She had had girlfriends and boyfriends, and had become intimate with both. Soon as I realized I was bi, everything fit into place. I had always liked gay porn, and was interested in dicks. It never seemed weird to me to see two guys together, I always thought, “If they want to be together, who am I to stop them?”

He would always hug me tenderly, as if it was perfectly natural. He would blow kisses to me at lunch, and laugh when I closed my eyes to keep control.

Even though it had faded to the background, I always loved him. Even when he broke up with Tina I loved him, though I did think he was an idiot to do it. I thought, “he’s single now,” but then I reminded myself that he was straight.

I wanted my first kiss from a guy to be from him, but I gave that away to a straight guy who’s girlfriend loved to see guys with other guys. One day, I went straight from school to Jacob and Adam’s house because we had a choir concert, and their house was within walking distance of the school.

Now I had snuck peeks at both of the twins in the locker room, so I knew every difference between every curve of Adam and Jacob’s bodies. Other people mixed them up, but they couldn’t fool me.
