The fair was getting boring. I was there with my girlfriend Michelle, and Benji and Christy who were going out together. We had already ridden the best rides, eaten all our favorite foods and were hanging around the games. Benji was throwing darts, trying to win some stupid stuffed animal for Christy, but Michelle didn’t want one. So I was just standing in back, watching Benji lose money. Benji’s on the football team with me. He’s a defensive lineman and I’m a linebacker. We grew up on farms next to each other, and I had been to the fair with him before and knew he wasn’t going to win any animal. He’d be better off spending money on beer if he wanted any chance to fuck Christy tonight. Once she was drunk, she’d let anyone fuck her. She’d even try and give you a blowjob, but she wasn’t very good at it. I knew, and most of the football team knew too.

While I watched Benji and the girls, I see some guy at the next booth over staring at me. I look away and look back. He was still staring. I could only see him from the chest up, but he looked like a real mess. His sleeveless t-shirt was torn and dirty, not in a cool way, but from working too much. His hair was short but shaggy and he hadn’t shaved in a while. He had a lot of muscle, and seemed to know the workers at the next booth. I figured he was a carnival worker too. He didn’t look like he was from around here. I checked on Benji and the girls, and then looked back again. He was still staring. Whatever.

“C’mon guys, I’m getting bored. Let’s find something else to do.”

“Yeah, this game sucks. Let’s do that one with the water guns. That’s more fun any way.”

So we walked around checking out the pig races on the way over to the other games. Girls always think the pigs are so cute. They smelled like shit to me, and I spend half the time on the farm shoveling some type of shit, so the pigs weren’t doing anything for me. There was that guy again, the carny worker. He was standing across the pig track staring at me. I could see the rest of him, frayed denim shorts and worker boots. He looked real hairy everywhere – face, chest, arms and legs. He reminded me of defensive coach Miller. He was also real hairy and had the same built up muscles, except this guy’s were probably from manual labor and not weights like the coach. I’d checked out coach Miller in the weight room. His body’s so different from mine. Where he’s all dark and hairy I’m all light and smooth. I’ve seen him in a jock too, even his ass is hairy. Me and coach Miller were like night and day. Except I had muscles too. Four years of weights and football builds you up, that and a lifetime shoveling shit.

The guy across the track looked like he was rubbing his crotch. Jeez, he had a big bulge. Not that I’m into guys, but it was hard not to notice when the bulge was that big and snaking down the side. The denim was kind of white where it had rubbed over time. He ain’t leaving much to the imagination. I look back up at his face again, and now he was smiling at me. What a pervert.
