neighbor at that, had one go missing. She accused me of having used magical powers to steal her chicken and brought her case to the ecclesiastical courts. The village was going through quite the craze by that time. Six women had already burnt at the stake for their involvement in dark magic. I’ve the feeling that my neighbor simply wanted me dead, saw that witch accusations were running rampant, and ate the chicken herself and blamed my Satanic powers for its disappearance. When I had time to think of my arrest between the pangs of intense pain, I commended my neighbor’s cleverness in being rid of me. I was in charge of her housing, and she had to pay me a fair price for the dwelling. With me gone, she would probably pay less once the town council annexed my property. I executed my revenge, however: she was one of the women that I named as a witch, and her trial and torture has already gotten under way.

I had refused to admit my sins to God under torture. I believe I made it as far as I did with the powers of Satan invested within me. Finally, after realizing they would never elicit a confession from me, the Inquisitors condemned me to death and an afterlife in Hell. They had already broken most of my bones and I already knew that I was to go to Hell, so I was relieved mostly by the fact that I would no longer be subject to torture. I would meet my Dark Prince once again soon and could exit my beaten physical body.

What I knew I’d miss most on earth was the pleasure of other men. I had engaged in numerous affairs with the Barons and Counts I represented. I was a secret lover to many of them, and my skills in the art of sex had guaranteed me many cases. I would no longer taste the sweet, fresh penises of our country’s greatest and most powerful men, I would no longer gag their mouths and tie up their limbs. To have that power over power excited me, and these men enjoyed relieving themselves of the stresses of supremacy.

And here, upon the dawn of my death, I’ve been defiled by torture, made to submit to the earthly authorities of God’s will. My entire life I spent dominating my surroundings, only to be overcome and cast away. I was consumed with these thoughts in my cell, shivering because of the cold stone upon which I laid. Many of my lacerations had hemorrhaged and become infected. It was in the most pitiable state of my life. I’d nothing to hope for but either death or renewal.

The night before my public execution marked the manifestation of my hope into something real. The Dark Lord, in retribution for my services rendered to him, sent me a spirit. I was given a final request before passing into the next world, and this spirit could fulfill what I asked of it. I knew exactly what I wanted: to torture pleasurably.

The spirit moved through me and renewed my strength and physical attractiveness. I was given The burden of defeat had finally been lifted from me! The spirit then took the shape of the handsome man who had been my torturer
