This Obama supporter is afraid McCain will win in the end. Can't you just smell what the republican attack machine is going to do once Billary gets the nomination? It's going to be a bloodbath. At least Obama might be able to keep the contest about issues. (gotta love Clinton with a "K", she's a goosestepper just like W) The good news is that W will be history no matter what. Can I get a Hell yeah!? There's a secret part of me that want's to vote against Hillary even if it means voting for McCain in November.

any gay male claiming to be a democrat clearly has no idea whats going on.

i would much rather have a republican nom who was openly against me, and therefor a little afraid then a democrat nom who claims to be a fag lover and promises gay marriage and all that jazz...then never does it.

Just in case anybody cared...I'm BACK! Did y'all miss me? I've been snooping around every now and then, but haven't really looked around enough.

But anyways, I like Obama a lot. The only thing that I'm worried about is that Obama discusses change, but he doesn't say how he is going to get that change. Change always requires someone in the end to get hurt.

Who really cares about "gay" issues like marriage? Not exactly up at the top of the list. I'm far more concerned with the war, the energy crisis and basic human rights. Obama or Hillary, simply be virtue of getting elected, would raise America's image in the eyes of the world. I was a Reagan Republican my entire life until we put Alfred E. Neumann in the White House. Cheney should have shot him instead.

I'm not sure that marriage - straight, gay, or otherwise - should become any more of a political issue than it already is, nor should decisions about the legality or the terms of any of it necessarily be made in the political arena. Government is already too involved in my life, much more than it should be, not as a support, but as an intruder into my personal life. Just leave me alone with the freedom to do what I want, and with whom (assuming they are consenting adults...) and we'll be fine.

And I wish all the politicians in the world would please just SHUT UP!!

i agree.

we need to enforce seperation of church and state a lot more.

what sense does it make that kids cant pray in school IF they WANT to...but in court you have to swear on the bible.

im agnostic. bible doesnt mean shit to me, and if given the chance id wipe my ass with it.

so why should that be what i swear on?

I realize we're getting off topic, but I agree that if the government got out of the marriage business entirely, there'd be no debate. And yes, separation of church and state is a big lie fed to us to keep us down.

Back on subject: The whole presidential election is rigged in that there are so few canidates to choose from and their differences are so slight. I wish I could be a fly on the wall in the secret meetings between the leaders of the respective major parties when they decide who they will offer up. It really doesn't matter who gets elected because whoever it is will just follow orders from the Trilateral Commission. http://www.trilateral.org/about.htm

Well, that's a relief - it used to be the Jews who were secretly running the world, and then for a while it was the Masons - I'm glad to hear that we have rotated our conspirators again - don't want to let the stock of theories go stale... Wink

Or, way too much time reading non-fiction history and biography...and by the way, forget "The History Channel". I don't know much, but when I see a program on there about one of the few things that I do know something about, they are amazingly superficial and grossly inaccurate. If even I can see the errors, with my limited knowledge, they must be pretty big errors!
