After spending a lot of time avatarless, I have decided to go ahead and begin the process of picking one out. However, I have no idea where to start looking. Does anybody know of any good sites?

You'll probably have the best luck finding the avatar you want to use by going to google images and searching for something particular that you want, such as ponies, or hot men, or whatever. You can do the same with Yahoo images.

If you have any pics that you already have and want to use, just resize them to 100 x 100 and you'll be set.

Yep, and also if you don't find one, you can always make your own. Just cut down any regular picture you like to 100x100 and you can use it instead of an already made avatar. They're sometimes much more original.

That's what I did. I couldn't quite find one I liked, so I just downsized this picture 'cause I love it

You can always go to a bigger board and steal someone elses...not that, that's what I did
