I tried shaving 'that area' once with shaving cream and a razor, and I ended up with some very uncomfortable and unsightly razor bumps...
So, now I just stick to trimming it really short with an electric razor. I use one of the types that has the nifty little multi-colored (sized) guards that you clip on the end so I can keep all my hair to a neat 1/4".

Okay 1st, trim everything down as much as possible. 2, use a shave cream with aloe. 3, do it in the bath with lots of hot water (softens the hair). 4, use a brand new razor disposable is fine but NOT a cheap one. 5, MOST important, shave in the direction the hair grows, not against it (I know sounds like Queer Eye advice) but because the hair there is springy it will tend to jump back under the skin if you shave against the grain as it were. _________________ ~James

Yes, i'm an electric razor man myself. I think unless you're really lean, or have a great all-over tan, you just look a little... 'underaged' without at least some furriness down there! _________________ makes out like a bandit.
Oh man the itching can drive you crazy! Good luck with that I'd just keep putting lotion on it until it gets better.....and go with electric razor next time! _________________ "Nate's are cocky for a reason."
