Well, Bard, I'm actually a Historian, but I'm afraid what went on over the pond doesn't interest me one bit. Not my period, not my area. Europe it is, all the way through, till 18th century. Woohoo! More history buffs! LOL Heh, and like Marquesate, I don't care about American history. My interests are primarily Europe, from about 900 AD to 1400 AD, though I tend to focus on England and Wales during that time period. So, Kay & Marquesate, maybe you should invent one?

My history interests are primarily American, but European history in certain periods is always fun - English from Neolithic times to the present; Scottish history prior to the 1600's; the whole of the Enlightenment up through WWII, and my special area is the Golden Age of the Medici in Florence (1400's-1700's) - I have a story brewing on that one...by the look of the above comment, I'm somewhat of a History Whore - anyone, anyplace, anytime...

I'm still a history buff in training, so I haven't picked a special area of interest yet. But I love all of Europe pre-industrialization. And Kay, I'm looking forward to Lucca and Gabriele. They intrigued me in your online story "When Darkness Falls."
