That's basically what I did but my hair doesn't like going lighter. With my mom and sisters help and about 4 boxes of the bleaching stuff I was lucky I still had hair on my head. It was so screwing the last pack of bleach I was pulliing/breaking my hair and there still were some darker spots. The red came in very well though, thank heavens. I will never bleach again and that was pretty much the last time I colored my hair too.

You'd have probably only then needed to colour that blond chunk back to your natural if you didn't want the blond.

If you decide to do it again, give me a shout before you go shaving your head again to get it out.

i will NEVER do anything crazy to my head again. once in a while my friend will dye my hair to cover any grey showing and thats it. _________________ "I love it when people give up chocolate for lent...OHHH just like being nailed to a cross...hey God, get over here we gotta open up the Pearly Gates, this bitch is going like 40 days without a Kit Kat Bar!"

Heh, I still dye mine black if the mood strikes, but I haven't done anything wild in years. Fried the hell out of it. Mine should be fried but it's not that bad. I've not seen my natural colour since I was maybe 15. Pretty much stay blond-it hides the grey best :P I don't often do the Manic Panic bit but sometimes I get sick of the merry-go-normal BS and have to break loose. That's when the MP comes out LOL!
