Posted: 8/15/2006 Post subject: What's Your Idea of a Romantic Date
O.k So my man and I have been dating for a few weeks now and I wanted to do something special for him. You know like take himout on a nice date, but I want to try to do something thoughtful and somewhat original, but not too over the top since we haven't been dating that long. I have had a few ideas, but they seem too elaborate and better suited to an anniversairy or something. Does anyone have any suggestions?
You know doing something nice for your guy might not need to entail you going all the way out. Maybe you should try to cook him a romantic dinner. You know with candles and such. Sometimes just making a special effort, like going to the trouble of cooking your man's favorite dish, means more than a big production.

I agree. I have a friend who ordered custome wine labels too, and it just topped the evening off. A romantic, home-cooked dinner complete with a custom made bottle of wine. It's kindof corny, but.....very romantic.
Romantic date, hmmm. Not everyone's fancy I'm sure, but if both you guys are into the sort of thing, going to a play or something like that is always an option....just 'cause I don't think it's a very typical date, it can be romantic. _________________ "Nate's are cocky for a reason."

Cool. thanks for the suggestions. I think I will go for the romantic dinner idea. I enjoy cooking and I think he would enjoy that. I like the idea of a getaway brawny1, but I think I'll save that for his B-day.
Ok....so in a different post a few minutes ago, I just thought of something else you could do. Do the whole dinner, whatever romantic stuff first, and then have the bedroom all ready to go for some afterwards fun...you know, like light some candles, have some music playing, maybe satin sheets if you have them....just another idea of how to to it all off... _________________ "Nate's are cocky for a reason."

Yeah candles add a whole other level of romance and sexiness to a mood, especially scented candles. Actually, you know it is a shame it isn't winter because having blankets and pillows set up in front of a fire place is so romantic and it surely doesn't hurt the mood either. _________________ "A man can be happy with any woman as long as he does not love her."

A warm fireplace, some soft blankets, and a good looking man - now that is a good way to spend an evening. _________________ "A man's errors are his portals of discovery."

I also agree, but no dinner is complete without a great dessert! Satisfy my sweet tooth, and I just might satisfy a craving or two of yours in return! _________________ "Wetter is Better"
I like an active guy who's not afraid to get a little dirty. I met my current boyfriend at our town's fall fair last year. I met hime while we were both bobbing for apples! Then we had quite a good time together on the hay ride...
